It takes how many? How Long?

A SQUAD of 20 riot cops yesterday swooped to tackle two giant red CHICKENS.
Two vans raced to a McDonald’s restaurant after fancy dress demonstrators chained themselves inside.
The officers — in full riot gear — took three hours to deal with Greenpeace protesters Janet Payne and Andrew Webster before cutting them free and arresting them.
An onlooker who saw the costume drama unfold in Manchester city centre said: “The police operation was totally over the top. They are quite happy to dispatch 20 officers to deal with two people dressed as chickens.
The protest began at 7am at the burger chain’s Oxford Street branch after Greenpeace vowed to demonstrate against the destruction of the Amazon rainforest. The two 7ft tall red roosters burst in and chained themselves to chairs.
Police cleared the diner and the pair were arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass.
Greenpeace campaigner Oliver Knowles said: “There were certainly a lot of police here for two chickens.”
